Just as you would expect ... you'll find some of the most beautiful historical "Southern-style" homes in the downtown area of Hot Springs. Many of these homes were built in the 1800s and early 1900s, with the quality craftmanship that you often find during this era. You'll find beautiful Craftsman, Queen Anne, Georgian, Gothic Revival, as well as Southern Colonial style homes . . . some of the most beautiful architectural style homes in the area. Many of these fine homes are located in the "Historic District" on Quapaw Avenue and Prospect Avenue, surrounded by large towering trees of the same age. This area is a short walking distance from the unique shopping, art galleries, bath-houses, and all the "tourist" attractions down the street in the downtown area.
