Beacon Manor

Beacon Manor located at 740 Weston Road was built in 1963 by Kemin Wilson, the founder of the Holiday Inns.  It was originally built with plans to be a gambling casino and luxury hotel.  During the construction phase, the state legistrators voted against the casino gambling, which then halted the original plans.  The building plans were then converted to condominiums... thus it then became the first high-rise condominium community on Lake Hamilton.  Since it was first designed as a hotel, many of the units here are one bedroom.  However, many buyers have purchased two units side-by-side and converted them into single two bedroom units. Of course, there's an elevator with hotel-like hallways and over-head sprinklers for fire safety precautions.  The units also have some awesome views of Lake Hamilton's main channel.

Owning a condo at Beacon Manor is like having the best of both worlds ... You will have all of the amenities of a fine hotel PLUS a private and relaxing condo within a gate-guarded complex. Here, you will enjoy an on-site property manager, a beautiful lobby area, spacious party rooms complete with a full kitchen, a work-out and entertainment room with ping-pong and pool tables, a huge open patio overlooking the oversized pool, tennis courts, a boat-launching area, covered parking, laundry facilities, lavish landscaping and some units have covered boat slips. And all of this is including in one monthly POA fee (including your water). The POA fees are approximately $178/mo for a single bedroom unit, and $326/mo for a double bedroom unit.

This complex is also very appealing to investors with short and long-term leasing allowed (Min of 2 nights but no pets).  Here you have the opportunity to enjoy the use of your condo AND earn a little extra cash during the peak vacation periods. It's a double winner!!
