Tanglewood Estates

Tanglewood Estates . . . another wonderful established neighborhood on Lake Hamilton in the "7South" area.  You can find this neighborhood by land, by heading South on Central Avenue, then take a Right on Amity Road, another Right on Old Brundage, and then another Right on Tanglewood Road.

The well-known Arkansas philanthropist Jennings Osborn once owned a swanky lake estate here prior to his passing in 2011.  The home had a unique, over-sized train set rolling along its lavishly landscaped backyard, along with a multitude of high-beam accent lights which would light the whole sky at night.  The Osborn family lived a grande life, and loved to entertain.  If Elvis was still living, he would have loved this home.

Another beautiful home in this neighborhood, owned by Leon Milsap is another showy lake estate.  It sits on a huge peninsula with lights that surround the full property at night, and has a huge water feature that attracts the attention of many visitors by boat.  The Belle Riverboat makes this one of its stops to tell tales about the mansion (but don't believe everything you here there).

The neighborhood has many other beautiful lake estates, and also has some more modest homes along the inner streets of the neighborhood.  It has a neighborhood boat ramp for the use of its residents.  The school district for this neighborhood is Lakeside.
